Superintendent Jeana Calloway‑Hodson offered three possible dates for a community meeting; the board approved March 26 at 7 p.m. on a motion from Board member Josh Deweese, seconded by Michael McKeown, and the vote was unanimous.
During the communications portion of the meeting, guest Evie Gottman presented an informational update on special education and guest Jackson Schumann presented an informational update on middle‑school math. Both items were recorded as information only; no board action was requested.
Old-business updates and staff reports covered planned community input for the district’s Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP), progress on facilities projects (HVAC Phase 1 completed in elementary rooms and junior‑high thermostats; cafeteria window finished; walk‑in freezer work ongoing) and an item noting that the Missouri Education Union Health Plan (MEUHP) has voted to dissolve; Superintendent Calloway‑Hodson said she will investigate alternative insurance options.
The board’s meeting minutes also list FY27 budget items and bids to consider, including a special-education position, a new bus, cafeteria tables and a salary-schedule review. The next regular board meeting was set for March 17, 2026 at 6 p.m.
