The Renick R-V Board of Education met April 21, 2026, at the district office in Renick and completed its annual organizational business, including the swearing in of returning members and the election of board officers.
Karen Williams, the board secretary, administered the oath to Michael McKeown and Josh Taylor. With nominations closed, the board elected Josh Taylor president, Richelle Gobel vice president and Tyler Cleeton treasurer by unanimous votes as recorded at the meeting.
The board recorded attendance and approved routine consent items, then set its next regular meeting for May 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. During other communications the board was told there will be no summer school this year.
The board later entered and exited a closed session for personnel matters under Sec. 610.021 RSMO subsection 3; the motions to enter and to leave closed session were approved by roll-call vote.
