Selectmen approve fiscal registers, meeting minutes and hold two nonpublic sessions

At its Nov. 4 meeting the Marlborough Board of Selectmen moved through routine procedural business and formal votes.
Early in the meeting, Selectman Nelson moved and Chairman Paight seconded a motion to enter a nonpublic session at 5:30 p.m. under New Hampshire RSA 91‑A:3, II(c) to discuss matters that could adversely affect an individual’s reputation (the board voted Yes on a roll call and entered the nonpublic session). The public session was reconvened at 6:00 p.m.; the board voted to seal the minutes of that nonpublic session, again with a roll‑call Yes vote from both members.
Later, members of the public and the health officer left the meeting at 7:15 p.m., and the board again moved into nonpublic session at 7:15 p.m. under RSA 91‑A:3, II(a) to discuss personnel matters; the board reconvened the public session at 8:00 p.m. and voted to seal those minutes as well.
On fiscal matters, Selectman Nelson moved and Chairman Paight seconded approval of the Nov. 6, 2025 direct deposit register in the amount of $12,296.02 and the accounts payable register in the amount of $62,471.93; the vote to approve was unanimous. Nelson also moved to approve the Oct. 29, 2025 meeting minutes; the vote to approve was unanimous. Selectman Nelson then moved to adjourn at 8:00 p.m.; Chairman Paight seconded and the meeting adjourned by unanimous vote.
