Patton Township files DCNR grant for $1.03 million Gray’s Woods Park Phase 2 design

The estimate incorporates design refinements developed with YSM since August 2025 and public feedback gathered at an open house on Feb. 17, 2026.
Project manager Susan Wheeler reported staff completed and uploaded the DCNR grant application before the portal deadline of 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2026. The township’s application requests $300,000 toward the project budget of $1,030,507; the minutes state DCNR award notifications are expected in late fall or early winter of 2026.
The committee did not record a formal funding commitment or Board-level approval at this meeting; staff filed the grant application and will report back when awards are announced or when the Board of Supervisors acts on program-level funding decisions.
