Board schedules Aug. 11 retreat, reminds public of candidate filing deadline

During the public-comment portion, a member (S4) reminded listeners that July 27 at 4 p.m. is the filing deadline for anyone interested in running for a school-board seat and outlined signature requirements. Members also welcomed the interim superintendent and asked for more presentations from building principals and student-government representatives at future meetings.
The meeting adjourned at about 9:08 p.m.
