River Ridge reviews unaudited October financials; approves irrigation change order

The board accepted the unaudited financial statements as of Oct. 31, 2024 and noted staff’s plan to close the Series 2022A note and apply funds to prepay bond debt. During the financial review, Mr. Blumenthal asked why an October 1 insurance payment was not listed in the check register; Mrs. Adams said she would investigate and report back to the board.
Separately, District Engineer Charlie Krebs presented a revised scope for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project and outlined ancillary irrigation costs from Irrigation Concepts: $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and about $1,300 each to raise seven to eight irrigation heads. On motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Schultz, the board approved the Irrigation Concepts change order in a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000.
