Mitch Vis, the village director of public works, presented designs for new welcome signs and park signage funded by State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds at the Village of North Fond du Lac Board of Trustees meeting on Aug. 19.
After reviewing multiple options, the board signaled a preference for stone park signs and aluminum welcome signs and requested that staff return with modified designs reflecting those materials. No design contract was approved at the meeting; staff will continue research and report back at a future meeting.
Administrator Nick Leonard also updated the board on a separate surveillance camera project, saying staff is working toward having the project under contract by the end of the year. The board did not take final action on the surveillance procurement during the meeting.
