Board adopts floodplain zoning ordinance and reduces Prospect Avenue speed limit to 30 mph

On second reading trustees approved Ordinance-2024-08, which strikes and recreates Chapter 22 of the Village Floodplain Zoning. Trustee Ann Price moved adoption and Trustee Chuck Hornung seconded; the ordinance passed on a recorded roll-call vote with all five trustees voting yes.
Separately, the Board considered Resolution-13-2024 to reduce the posted speed on Prospect Avenue from 35 miles per hour to 30 miles per hour. Trustee John Duffy moved approval and Trustee Mike Will seconded; the resolution passed 5-0.
