County emergency management and United Way brief board; trustees discuss SLFRF and traffic study, then enter closed session over real estate

Fond du Lac County Emergency Management Director John Ross and Fond du Lac Area United Way Executive Director Amber Kilawee introduced themselves and described programs and partnership opportunities to the Village of North Fond du Lac Board of Trustees during the June 17 meeting. The board thanked both presenters and indicated interest in continued collaboration.

During administrative reports Administrator Nick Leonard and trustees discussed the use of State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). Trustee Ann Price asked specifically about the Prospect Avenue Traffic Study; Leonard said the village had just received the final report and would be bringing it to the board for consideration in a future meeting.

At 6:53 p.m. Trustee Ann Price moved, and Trustee Chuck Hornung seconded, that the board convene in closed session under Wis. Stats., Section 19.85(1)(e) to deliberate or negotiate the purchase of public property or other specified public business when competitive or bargaining reasons require closed consideration. Roll call votes were recorded as Duffy-yes, Hornung-yes, Streetar-yes, Price-yes and Will-yes.
