"There is going to be a form... this is an example, but this will be the form that will come out in your packet for you to look at when you look at whichever statute and regulation you're gonna be reviewing," Carol said. Members discussed whether to provide a full list in March or a short list and suggested picking three initial items to focus on and re-grouping related statutes so reviews can be completed efficiently.
The committee also requested a status update on the IV therapy task force. Carol reported there had been no work since the last meeting and said she needs to resume work on reworking the test and competency checklist. The committee agreed to include the task force update among items to monitor for March 2026.
The discussion identified specific statutes referenced in the packet (referred to in the meeting as "65 42 06" and "65 42 07") that may be connected to other committees' work on LMHT/LMHD issues; committee members suggested coordinating reviews with the education committee where statutes overlap.
The committee closed by selecting three items for the March 2026 agenda and asking staff to place the full list of scheduled statutes in the packet if members want the broader context ahead of the meeting.
