Charlotte TeBrink, Village Clerk and Treasurer, reported March Keno gross proceeds of $440,805.75, a payout rate of 85.68 percent, unclaimed wins of $371.19 and a village share of $22,411.48. The treasurer also reported fund balances: General $1,604.55; Water $34,738.92; Sewer $999.46; Street $25,213.33; Community Center $935.00.
At the May 4 meeting the board approved Claims List A totaling $73,692.89 and List B totaling $8,877.85. The minutes include detailed line-item claims for List A and List B (e.g., Ball Insurance $28,577.00; Odeys $23,405.95). The trustees also approved Keno disbursements of $54,624.00, April net payroll of $10,695.71 and a transfer of $30,000 from Keno Checking to the General Fund. The motion to approve claims and the transfer was moved by Trent Wheatley and seconded by Amanda Fangmeier.
The board reviewed Agreed-Upon Procedures and Financial Statements for fiscal year 2024–25 prepared by HBE; the minutes record the review but no further action on the audit materials was taken at the meeting.
