Thomasville council approves amended briefing agenda, schedules Dec. 15 rezoning hearing

Council Member Hunter Thrift moved to approve the amended agenda; Mayor Pro Tem Doug Hunt seconded and the motion passed, recorded as a 5–0 vote at the briefing.
Brandt also told the council that a rezoning request (Z25-0012) affecting a parcel on W. Guilford Street, Parcel Number 16089000D0001, seeks to change the property’s zoning from R-10 / R-6 to R-6. He said the Planning Board approved the request 4–2 and that he expects some opposition at the council public hearing, which the briefing scheduled for the Dec. 15 council meeting.
