Board hears Apply Kansas report as All Star High School recognitions are approved

Apply Kansas is an annual campaign hosted during the school day that supports seniors applying to college, jobs and the military; All Star High School recognition requires schools to complete three components: an application completion event, a financial aid completion event and a signing or decision celebration. Knox said the program is housed at the ACT Center for Impact and Learning and that all 50 states participate in related efforts.
Committee members congratulated schools and staff and asked brief procedural questions about reporting and data. The committee then moved to act on the All Star High School award recognitions; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
