The Green Bay Offender Residency Board voted to approve Richard Gombrowski’s request to reside at 805 Shawano Avenue after hearing that he has completed multiple treatment programs and secured employment.
Gombrowski told the board he has previously completed SOT 2, anger management, CGIP and aftercare and that he recently served about a year and a half in prison. He said he works as a machine operator at Alliance Films, has a car for transportation and has family support. One board member recused themself from Gombrowski’s case because of an existing client relationship.
Board members said they had no concerns about the address-specific request given his treatment history and stability. A member moved to approve the residency; the motion was seconded and the board voted in favor. Chair instructed Gombrowski that, as with other approvals, he must return to the board if he later moves from the approved address and confirmed the board will mail the approval to the address or the applicant's listed mailing address.
The board closed business and set its next meeting for August 19.
