At the June 24 meeting the board’s procurement committee reported evaluation scores and recommended awards for several solicitations.
Architect of Record: Four responses were evaluated and scored; EI Associates (listed as "El Associates" in the evaluation report) received a high overall evaluation and the committee recommended awarding Architect of Record services for 2026–27 to EI Associates. The scoring materials and weighted cost analysis were included in the agenda packet.
Health benefits broker: Four proposals were scored (Centric Benefits, Conner Strong & Buckelew, Gallagher, Fairview). Although Centric scored marginally higher numerically, the committee recommended retaining incumbent Conner Strong & Buckelew to preserve operational continuity and avoid transition risk; the board adopted the recommendation.
Kosher vended meals: Because the Department of Agriculture School Nutrition Program required a new solicitation after district school closings, the board rescinded the prior renewal and re-advertised. A later read-in of BID 04-2627 produced one responsive bid: The Café on Clifton LLC d/b/a Crisp Culinary, Inc., which the board moved to award for the 2026–29 school years at an estimated $375,000 per year (dependent on enrollment).
Other awards and renewals for insurance, content management (FileBank), nonpublic instructional services and program vendors were also presented in the business-administrator procurement section.
