Pflugerville ISD board praises superintendent after closed-session formative evaluation

The board reconvened in open session at about 10:03 p.m., and Board President Mitchell said trustees expressed that they were pleased with Shepherd’s leadership over his first six months.
Board President Mitchell thanked Shepherd for his work and noted that the evidence reviewed showed "he's been hard at work, leading the district in a great mature and wise, leadership." The board did not announce any hiring or employment decisions after the closed session.
Trustee Mott moved to adjourn the work session; the motion was seconded by Trustee Torres and the board approved the adjournment unanimously, 7–0.
The closed-session citation and the board’s open-session statement are the only formal actions recorded: the board met in executive session under 551.074 and returned to praise the superintendent’s performance; no further personnel actions were disclosed.
