Principals report successful Homecoming, curriculum vendor reviews and concert date

Principal Tiffany Morey told the board that Homecoming week went well with parade activities and skits. She announced the winter concert is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 6:15 p.m. and will include three- and four-year-old preschool students. Parent-teacher conferences will be held in the last week of October and a Veterans program is planned for Nov. 11.
Rachel Montag submitted a curriculum report saying the district is reviewing two different companies for future reading-curriculum purchases and is scheduling follow-up training for the MATCH curriculum (K–5) and a new ELA curriculum for grades 7–12. Principal Tyson Wirtz said fall sports are concluding and teams will soon enter postseason play, and he characterized the year as going well to date.
