The board recorded hearing times for the following protest numbers and owners: 260012–260015 for Thomas Rosenquist (parcels 640065406, 640069908, 640030793, 640069983) at 10:40 a.m.; 260017 for Jennifer Hurt (parcel 640036112) at 10:50 a.m.; 260018 for Warren and Cheryl Crouse (parcel 64005179) at 11:00 a.m.; 260019 for Rick Helms (parcel 640012728) at 11:10 a.m.; 260020 for Mary Jane Anthony (parcel 640057381) at 11:20 a.m.; protest 260021 for Cheri and Robert Dean was listed with no time; and 260022–260023 for Delbert Jeanneret (parcels 640034373 and 640014240) at 11:25 a.m.
Commissioner Michael Weiss moved and Chairman Bryan Mellage seconded a motion to approve an extension of the filing deadline for the Nebraska Homestead Exemption for applicant Robert Schwarck from June 30, 2026, to July 20, 2026; the motion passed on a recorded vote with Weiss and Mellage voting aye and Commissioner Mike Hall absent.
County Clerk Diane Johnson certified the minutes and a complete copy of the minutes is available at the Nemaha County Clerk’s office and on the county website. The meeting adjourned at 11:31 a.m.
