The Marinette Historic Preservation Commission named volunteers to represent the commission at a Civic Affairs meeting about the Cemetery Chapel disposition.
Chairperson Dr. Dan Kallgren and/or Commissioner Mark Davenport plan to attend the Civic Affairs session on July 20, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. to discuss the Chapel's disposition, the commission reported at its July 16 meeting. The commission did not take a formal vote on any disposition; it designated attendance and follow-up reporting as the next step.
Commissioners listed the Civic Affairs follow-up and the monument installation as topics for their next regular meeting, scheduled for Aug. 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Hall Common Council Room.
