"We had, we had quite a few events," Singletary said, listing graduations, two banquets tied to a youth badge and police academy graduation, Customs and Border Protection meetings, Vanguard ISD graduation ceremonies, Hidalgo County Elections runoff meetings in the conference room, a UTRGV mobile health unit visit, Pharr EMS training and a community health fair hosted by Pharr Police. He described the DRC as a flexible site with large halls and ample parking that many groups are using.
Why it matters: the DRC's frequent rentals show demand for community meeting space and the center's role hosting county and municipal partners.
