Board approves routine claims and billing adjustments; two public-works employees to resign Oct. 31

In new business the chair informed the board that two full-time public-works employees plan to resign effective Oct. 31: the street superintendent, who has worked more than 20 years for the city, and the utility superintendent, who is leaving for medical reasons. The chair said formal written resignation letters will be provided next month and the board will arrange farewells.
