Planning staff reported they expect additional materials from consultant Northstar on the proposed subdivision and that a property owner (Mr. Cram) is pursuing lot-line adjustments for parcels on Brown Road; staff signaled the owner may need to submit a revised plan depending on the requested changes. CEO Tim Giddinge said the board should expect more detail but that the applicant likely will not return for the next meeting because of filing deadlines.
The board also discussed an estimate from the Road Commissioner on repairs for Poland Range Road and a prior request to seek a state evaluation; members noted the Road Commissioner had not found a state mechanism for that assessment and discussed next steps for requesting traffic or safety assessments tied to subdivision approvals.
Administrative items included a reminder that town meeting is set for June 22, 2026 at 7 p.m. at Pownal School, that draft minutes and newsletters should be circulated in a timely fashion, and a report of spam targeting town officials and residents. The meeting adjourned at 8:37 p.m. after a motion that carried 5-0.
Board calendar: the next meeting will include the site walk and public hearing for 614 Elmwood Road and continued review of the Stetson preliminary plan.
