Cambria board adopts updated fire code and wildland interface amendments

The board heard questions about minor editorial details in the community profile and acknowledged staff updates would be made where appropriate.
Director Gray moved the ordinance and the board adopted it by roll call; the board then adopted the resolution supporting local findings by separate motion and vote. The ordinance and resolution will allow the district to apply locally tailored fire‑safety standards, including those that relate to outdoor fire safety and vegetation management in high‑risk areas.
