The Cambria Community Services District board adopted Resolution 13-2026 on April 9 to fix water and wastewater standby (availability) charges for fiscal year 2026–27. Director Thomas moved to adopt the resolution, and the roll call vote was unanimous.
Staff and district counsel explained the charge is a fixed, mandatory amount collected on the property tax roll and used for maintaining infrastructure. Finance manager Fritz and counsel clarified that this is a routine annual action, not an addition to existing customer bills, and provided a financial report that staff prepared to explain how the revenues will be used to manage aging assets.
The board heard no public opposition during the meeting and asked staff to continue providing the detailed financial report included in the packet so directors can compare current and prior years.
