Maintenance Director Wade told the court the 2009 Ford F‑250 offered by the City of Versailles had 110,827 miles on it and a negotiated purchase price of $8,500; the purchase was authorized contingent on the City of Versailles council’s approval. Wade said the county’s current truck (to be surplused after purchase) has about 252,000 miles.
The court also approved a $2,700 proposal (Hype) to remove and deep‑clean coils and blower wheels in 20 mini‑split HVAC units at EMS Station 1 ($135 per unit). Hartley recommended the cleaning to address drainage and operational complaints and said damaged blower wheels would be estimated and billed separately.
Hartley presented a revised Eads Fencing invoice for an automatic County Road gate that increased to about $19,375 after adding a post and extra guide wheels to preserve operation of the 40‑foot gate; the court approved the modified invoice.
