Organizers ask Marlborough selectmen to take part in semiquincentennial parade and monument dedication

Parker asked that the town be represented in the Memorial Day Parade scheduled for May 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. and in a July 4 Revolutionary War Monument dedication, which would be followed by photographs. He also noted a resident has offered a 1926 covered Model T Ford for use and asked whether current holders of the town’s Boston Canes could ride in events.
The board later accepted two $100 donations for the Revolutionary War Monument as unanticipated revenues under New Hampshire RSA 31:95(b). The request to participate and the small donations were recorded in the meeting minutes; no formal scheduling or additional budget allocations were reported during the session.
