Cheatham County Board recognizes Employees of the Month from district schools

At its Dec. 11, 2025 meeting, the Cheatham County Board of Education recognized Employees of the Month representing several district schools and programs.
Chairman David Risner presented the honors. Recognized employees and their listed roles or sites were: Lynne Smith (ACESA, Assistant); Melissa Jones (ECES, Teacher); Leah Jones (KSES, Teacher); Megan Batson (PEFAMS, Teacher); Amber Pennington (PVES, Academic Specialist); Sarah Roberts (WCES, Teacher); Gracelyn Coggins (CMS, Assistant); Jamie Slot (HMS, Teacher); and Mallory Beecher (SMS, Student Services Coordinator).
The board noted these recognitions as part of presentations and awards; no formal vote was required to grant the recognitions. The board’s announcements and brief member comments were recorded and a video link was provided for additional remarks.
