North Fond du Lac trustees approve consent agenda, adopt two proclamations and enter closed session on administrator review

Trustee Mike Will moved approval and Trustee Ann Price seconded; the motion passed with five ayes. During that item Will asked Fire Chief Jake Flaherty about a boat-trailer purchase that exceeded the capital improvement plan allocation; Flaherty said "the association covered the difference and that the purchase was within the approved CIP." The board took no separate public action beyond approving the consent agenda.
The board then adopted two resolutions. Resolution R-05-2023, proclaiming Arbor Day in the Village of North Fond du Lac, was moved by Trustee Chuck Hornung and seconded by Trustee John Duffy; the motion passed unanimously. Resolution R-06-2023, designating Kids to Parks Day in the village, was moved by Trustee Ann Price and seconded by Trustee Mike Will and likewise passed on a unanimous voice vote.
Later the board voted to go into closed session at 6:37 PM to discuss a personnel matter under Wisconsin State Statutes 19.85(1)(c). Trustee Ann Price moved the closed-session motion, seconded by Trustee John Duffy. The board recorded roll-call votes of "yes" from Trustees Duffy, Hornung, Streetar, Price and Will. The minutes state the closed session concerned the Village Administrator performance review; no further details were disclosed in the public minutes.
Trustee Ann Price moved and Trustee Chuck Hornung seconded a motion to return to open session at 8:35 PM; roll-call votes were again recorded as yes for all five trustees. The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 PM on a motion by Price, seconded by Duffy, with five ayes.
No formal disciplinary or appointment actions were recorded in the public minutes; the transcript records only that the board met in closed session to discuss the administrator’s performance and later returned to open session.
