North Versailles approves sewer contract, audit engagement and routine bills

The board voted to award the Naser Road Sanitary Sewer Relocation project to Demex LLC for $78,620, to be paid from the Bond Fund, with final contract execution subject to solicitor and project-engineer review and approval. Commissioners also approved the minutes of the Dec. 19, 2024 meeting and authorized payment of bills payable and paid from the General Fund in the amount of $167,185.09 and from the Liquid Fuels Fund $15,647.67. The board recorded those motions as carried.
The board authorized a payment from the Fire Tax to Crestas VFC #4 for monthly bills totaling $1,833.79 and approved annual dues to the Tri-County Council of Governments (TCVCOG) of $4,613. The motions were recorded as carried.
The board approved engagement of the accounting firm Hosack, Specht, Muetzel and Wood, LLP to perform the 2024 audit for $11,550. The motion was recorded as carried.
The board also approved allowing the Pennsylvania Senate and Senator Pisciottano to continue using office space at the municipal building at no cost; that motion was recorded as carried.
