The Board of Education for Chase County School District #15-0536 (Wauneta-Palisade Public Schools) met Dec. 15, 2025, in Wauneta and voted unanimously to approve the Nov. 10 regular meeting minutes, accept the district's monthly budget reports and approve expenditures totaling $416,501.87 and to adopt updated Policies 3131 and 3132.
On a motion by Laurie Maris and second by Hondo Fanning, the board approved the Nov. 10 minutes; the vote was recorded as Hondo Fanning: Yea, John Jutten: Yea, Laurie Maris: Yea, Aaron McKinney: Yea, Allison Sandman: Yea and Marty Wheeler: Yea. Later, Hondo Fanning moved and Marty Wheeler seconded acceptance of the monthly budget reports and district expenditures, which totaled payroll of $304,939.31 and general fund payables of $111,565.56; the motion passed with the same unanimous vote.
The board also considered updated Policies 3131 and 3132. President Allison Sandman moved to adopt the policies and waive the first and second oral readings; Laurie Maris seconded. The motion passed with all members voting in favor. The meeting minutes list those policies as adopted but do not include the text of the changes discussed.
