Hallock council approves Johnson shed permit, adds Nordines to agenda and adjourns special meeting

During the special meeting Sept. 24, 2025, the Hallock City Council approved an addition to the agenda to allow residents Kevin and Jody Nordine to speak, then later approved zoning permit 2025-19 for Gary and Renee Johnson’s shed. Councilor Kevin Waller moved to add the Nordines to the agenda; Councilor Naomi Larson seconded and the motion carried. Councilor Jen Peterson moved to approve the Johnson zoning permit; Councilor Waller seconded and the motion carried.
With no further business, Councilor Jen Peterson moved to adjourn the meeting; Councilor Naomi Larson seconded and the council adjourned at 6:30 p.m. The minutes note Councilor Mikey Totleben joined the meeting after the agenda-addition vote. The minutes do not show roll-call vote tallies for the agenda addition or the permit approval, recording only that motions "carried."
