Board members agreed the update will inform future local projects but does not itself change township regulations.
The resolution was approved at the meeting after discussion and a recorded voice vote of "Aye," with the chair stating "Motion carries." The board did not record a roll-call tally in the transcript.
The board said the plan will be used as a reference when the township considers infrastructure projects to reduce flood risk and related hazards. No additional implementation schedule or funding was specified during the meeting.
The township next meets on Aug. 6; staff said follow-up items and any necessary implementation steps will be handled through routine departmental processes.
