Silver Creek Township board approves amended agenda, approves minutes with one abstention and reviews property updates

The Silver Creek Township Board of Supervisors met July 1, 2025. Chairman Mike Helman called the meeting to order and the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Vice Chair Brandon Geyen moved to approve the meeting agenda with an amendment to add the Anderson and Haack properties to old business; the motion was seconded by Forsman and the minutes record the motion carried 4-0. Supervisor Andy Christensen moved to approve the June 17, 2025 meeting minutes; Chairman Mike Helman seconded and the minutes record that motion carried 3-0, with Geyen abstaining.
During the maintenance report, the minutes note that the township attorney requires approved plans and all available information from developers to prepare a developer agreement. In old business the board received updates on the township website, a matter involving Andy Anderson, the Ferman Avenue property and the Haack property; the minutes do not record formal votes or outcomes on those items.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Vice Chair Brandon Geyen and seconded by Supervisor Andy Christensen; the minutes record the motion but do not record a vote or outcome for that line.
