The Warren County Planning Board on March 10 appointed Forrest Alston to fill the remainder of a vacated seat and recommended that Jessica Harvey continue her service after her term expired on Jan. 30, 2026.
Mark Bloomer, Zoning Director, said the board needed to fill Barbara Espinosa’s position and reported statements of interest from Jessica Harvey, Joe Zeno and Erika Horton. Vice Chair Dan Swango moved to recommend that Jessica Harvey remain on the board; Robert May seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Swango then moved to appoint Forrest Alston to fill Espinosa’s unexpired term; Robert May seconded and the motion passed with all in favor.
Chair Sid Cutts moved to table discussion of remaining open positions, possible bylaw changes and requests for future agenda items until the April meeting; the board approved the request. The Planning Board set its next meeting for April 7, 2026 and then adjourned.
