Councilmember Becker reminded the contractor and staff that rental placements should not block private beach entrances; staff confirmed the rule will be enforced. Councilmember Alfred asked that Shore Beach Services and staff improve how they notify beachgoers of incidents (shark sightings, severe weather). Town staff said a new beach-warning system is being developed and anticipated it would be in place by the season.
Council approved the proposed locations and moves by unanimous vote (7–0).
