City planning staff told the Monrovia Planning Commission that an initial study and mitigated negative declaration (IS/MND) for a proposed warehouse at 2601 South California Avenue will be released for public review the day after the July 15 meeting.
Community Development Director Sherry Bamillo said staff will email commissioners links to the documents and post the materials on the city’s development spotlight page. Bamillo said that if commissioners want paper copies, staff will provide them. She added that the project will return to the commission for review after public comments are received and addressed, likely in September or October.
The commission did not take action on the warehouse project at the July 15 meeting; the comment period and any subsequent changes to the IS/MND will determine the next steps and schedule for formal review.
