On April 30, 2026, the Tower City Council adopted Ordinance Number 55D, vacating an old right of way in Harbor Court to enable construction of a new roadway for the Harbor condominium and apartment project.
Clerk/Treasurer Tammy Mortaloni told the council that a roadway shown on a county plat needed to be vacated to permit the new Harbor project roadway. The ordinance received its first reading on April 13, 2026, and the council completed a second reading and vote on April 30. Councilor Joe Morin moved to adopt Ordinance Number 55D; Councilor VanDeVoort seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
Clerk Mortaloni said she will publish the approved ordinance in the Timberjay next week. The adoption formally removes the recorded right of way identified on the county plat and clears the way for the city to proceed with the Harbor project roadway work, subject to any remaining permitting or construction steps.
