The Venango County Commissioners met July 14, 2026, in Room 100 of the Courthouse Annex and approved a change to Rockland Township's polling place and the minutes from the June 9 meeting.
Commissioner Samuel Breene called the meeting to order at 4:31 p.m. Pastor Eric Reamer gave the invocation and attendees recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Commissioner Kenneth J. Bryan moved to approve the June 9, 2026 minutes; Commissioner Timothy Heffernan seconded, and the motion carried with the board voting "aye all." The board recorded there was no public comment on the Election Board agenda.
Under Election Board items, county staff provided voter registration statistics and presented an administrative proposal to relocate the Rockland Township polling location from the Rockland Volunteer Fire Department to the Rockland United Methodist Church. Commissioner Bryan moved to approve the polling-place change; Commissioner Heffernan seconded and the motion passed with the board voting "aye all."
