The Clerk reported the township checking account balance and museum finances at the start of the meeting, saying the checking account balance after recent purchases and a $10 membership deposit was $3,162.54 and museum checking stood at $63.37 after a $111 alarm payment. The Clerk said museum savings held $22,640.62 and that the group had received six cents in interest for the period; the Clerk added staff would transfer funds from savings to cover the next bill when required.
Meeting host Neil thanked township trustees and staff for their support of the museum facility and volunteer program, noted the hospitality rotation for refreshments (Vicky and Fawna this month, Carol scheduled for September) and reminded members that a board meeting will be held that night. Neil said organizers are preparing a 2027 community calendar (he mentioned a tentative 10/27 date) and suggested a $15 price if the calendar is produced.
The meeting moved on to community announcements; the host highlighted an Aug. 2 chicken dinner and then called the meeting to adjourn. No formal motions or votes were recorded in the transcript.
