During the reports portion of the July 9 meeting, the board discussed logistics for the upcoming Juniata Days parade, an update on the Rosewood Villa street project and follow-up actions on nuisance complaints.
Board members discussed where barricades should be placed along the parade route for Saturday’s Juniata Days. Employee Mattley reported that crews will return Monday to complete unfinished manholes at Rosewood Villa and that seeding remains to be done.
Clerk Petzoldt updated the board on nuisance letters she had been directed to send. The board directed Trustee Scott to speak with the resident at 800 Republican regarding incomplete work; the clerk will make a final courtesy call to the resident at 506 Republican and will consult planning and zoning about lots at Rosewood Villa.
Trustee Uldrich also used public comment to commend resident Trent McKimmey and his family for organizing a fireworks display that pleased the community. The minutes do not record further public-comment concerns or protests.
