Floyd County supervisors adopt new zoning fee schedule including turbine and solar fees

The board adopted the resolution by roll call vote, with Supervisors Frank Rottinghaus, Boyd Campbell and Gloria Carr recorded as ayes. The resolution as adopted states it applies to permits and actions required under the Floyd County Zoning Ordinance and lists the fee amounts that will govern future permit processing.

The change is likely to affect individuals and businesses applying for land-use approvals in Floyd County, including applicants for wind generation and commercial construction projects.
