The Southampton Township Land Development Board on Oct. 3, 2024 memorialized four resolutions, approved a minor subdivision application for 805 Crystal Avenue and carried a Sheppard Bus Company site-plan application to the board’s Nov. 7 meeting.
Vice-Chairman Keebler opened the meeting at 6:01 p.m. and the board approved the Sept. 5 minutes unanimously. Board Solicitor Peter Lange reviewed each resolution before the board acted.
The board amended and memorialized Resolution 2024.21 (24-3404-12, 611 Avenue D — Coniglio Pole Barn bulk variance). The motion to memorialize the amended resolution was moved by Mr. Heston and seconded by Mr. Raftery. Ayes were recorded from Ms. Conover, Mr. Heston, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Mr. Raftery, Mr. Mattio and Mr. Dehoff; Mr. Kennedy voted no.
The board then memorialized Resolution 2024.22 (24-4031201, 2357 Vincentown Columbus Road/Route 206 — Dermody Warehouse final major site plan approval) on a motion by Mr. Raftery, seconded by Mr. Kavanagh. Ayes were recorded from Ms. Conover, Mr. Heston, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Mr. Raftery, Mr. Mattio, Mr. Dehoff and Mr. Kennedy.
Resolution 2024.23 (24-403-1, 1869 Route 38 — Tractor Supply Company amended major site plan and use variance) was memorialized following review; the recorded ayes were Ms. Conover, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Mr. Mattio, Mr. Dehoff and Mr. Kennedy.
Resolution 2024.24 (24-2703-3, 23 Big Hill Road — Leisuretowne Association / BEMS major site plan and use variance) was memorialized with ayes from Ms. Conover, Mr. Heston, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Mr. Raftery, Mr. Mattio, Mr. Dehoff and Mr. Kennedy.
On applications, attorney Guido Babore (Lauletta Birnbaum, LLC) represented applicant Adam Crawford on a minor subdivision for 805 Crystal Avenue (24-301-1). Crawford was sworn and provided testimony; Board Planner Ed Fox reviewed ERI’s review letter and the applicant responded. After board discussion and no public comment, Mr. Murphy moved and Mr. Hagerthey seconded approval of the minor subdivision. The motion passed with ayes from Ms. Conover, Mr. Hagerthey, Mr. Heston, Mr. Kavanagh, Mr. Keebler, Mr. Murphy, Mr. Raftery, Mr. Mattio and Mr. Dehoff.
Kathie Renner (Brown & Connery, LLP) requested the Sheppard Bus Company application (24-507-19, 111 Route 530) be carried to Nov. 7, 2024; the board approved the continuance on a motion by Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mr. Mattio.
During the public portion, Barry Briscoe of 172 Main Street asked about the process to file with the board; Peter Lange directed him to the Southampton Township Zoning Officer. The board adjourned at 7:08 p.m.
