During its April 21 meeting the Floyd County Board of Supervisors approved routine business and several motions by unanimous vote.
Supervisor Frank Rottinghaus and Supervisor Boyd Campbell moved and seconded approval of the meeting agenda, approval of the April 14, 2026 minutes, and authorization to pay County claims #2273–2317 and Engineer claims #10626–10636; the minutes record each motion as carried 3-0. The board reviewed the claims listing submitted for payment.
The board also noted receipt of the North Iowa Area Council of Governments FY25 audit report and approved publication of the county’s Noxious Weed list, directing Auditor Morrigan Montagne to submit the notice for publication. Finally, the board approved a five-day liquor license for Traveling Tapster LLC for an event on May 29 at 2526 U.S. Highway 218, Charles City; that motion also carried 3-0.
