Commissioners approve claims, transfers and blanket POs and cancel lapsed warrants and select purchase orders

Pittsburg County commissioners completed several routine fiscal actions July 6, approving claims and purchase orders, transfers, monthly reports, and numerous blanket purchase orders across county departments.
Chairman Ross Selman moved to approve claims and purchase orders for payment after review; the motion passed unanimously. The board also approved all transfers and accepted the monthly reports of officers by unanimous vote.
The county clerk presented a packet of purchase orders and financial detail: the FY2025-26 purchase-order printout in the packet totaled $390,056.87; the FY2026-27 printout totaled $71,225.55. The board approved a motion to accept and post these financial printouts as presented.
As part of routine housekeeping, the board approved Amended Resolution 26-321 canceling a list of lapsed warrants (several small-dollar warrants listed in the resolution) and passed Resolution Nos. 27-001, 27-002 and 27-003 to cancel specified purchase orders for District 2, the Sheriff's Department and District 3. Each resolution was read into the record and approved unanimously.
The board also approved a long list of blanket purchase orders covering department operating needs and emergency services; county staff will sign and file approved claims accordingly.
