Pittsburg County commissioners on July 6 approved multiple agreements covering legal services, mapping and purchasing participation.
By unanimous vote the board approved: a renewal of select lease and software agreements for the county assessor's office; an interlocal participation agreement with the National Purchasing Cooperative (Buy Board) described by Sandra Crenshaw as enabling access to cooperative procurement contracts; an interlocal agreement between District 3 and Waylon or Kimberly White to allow drain-correction access on private property; and a professional-services contract with O'Hara & Adams, PLLC for legal services related to ad valorem tax issues.
The board also authorized a contract with Total Assessment Solutions Corp. (TASC) for mapping, inspection and valuation support related to oil and gas equipment and pipelines in the amount of $37,500, payable in four quarterly installments. Separately, the county approved an independent-contractor agreement with Carol Parrett (Dirt Road Data) for visual inspection work, deed processing and data-entry duties; the contract includes per-record fees and hourly mapping rates as outlined in the packet.
Chairman Ross Selman moved to approve the package of agreements; the motions were seconded and passed unanimously. The meeting packet includes contract terms and rate schedules: the O'Hara & Adams legal contract lists hourly ceilings (partners up to $300/hour, associates up to $250/hour) and TASC's fee schedule is shown as $37,500 for the mapping work.
County staff will complete contract execution and administrative steps required to implement the services.
