"The design plan will be December and then the construction will start in January," Committee member (Speaker 3) said. Board members said they hope the work will be finished by spring so the road can be repaved and crosswalk markings refreshed.
Officials also noted they will keep residents informed as project details firm up. Committee member (Speaker 3) said the meeting answered many residents’ questions and that staff will continue to provide more detailed updates as they become available. The board did not take formal action on the item during the work session; staff indicated they will return with further timelines and notices to residents.
