The Clifton Town Council unanimously approved the Dec. 6, 2011 minutes and accepted Treasurer Marilyn Barton’s financial report at its Jan. 3 meeting.
Marilyn Barton told the council the town’s cash balance was $467,376.73 as of Jan. 2, 2012. She said interest income of $891.33 was not included on the printed December report because of timing, and that a $9,200 check written to Land Planning & Design Associates had cleared and will be reimbursed. With those adjustments the council-recorded net year-to-date loss stood at $5,154.
Council member Wayne Nickum moved to approve the Treasurer’s Report; Dwayne Nitz seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The report and the motion were handled as routine business; no additional directives to staff or follow‑up tasks were recorded during the meeting.
