City Counsel Tim Lafon presented the terms: Mr. Bogel is to pay the city $3,500 upon execution of the Settlement Agreement and an additional $4,000 within 24 months. Lafon said Mr. Bogel signed a “Consent Judgment” that permits the city to record a judgment for $10,000 plus interest if he fails to meet the payment schedule.
Councilmember Ryan Powers moved to accept the Settlement Agreement as presented; the minutes record that the motion carried. The minutes do not record a roll-call vote or individual vote tally.
No additional disciplinary action or personnel process was described in the minutes beyond the settlement terms reported by city counsel.
