"We have served a total of 82 students... 62 at Enumclaw High School, 9 at Enumclaw Middle School, and 11 at Thunder Mountain," Verhus said, and reported that six Enumclaw High School students "graduated from therapy." She described an improvement in a behavioral‑incident metric (from about 0.69 to about 1.016, which she characterized as a roughly 32 percent improvement) and said the foundation saw a slight average GPA increase of about 1.25% among the 2025–26 students.
On senior services, Verhus said the foundation currently serves about 66 seniors with hot meals and prepares "about 400 meals prepared from scratch each week," delivered three times per week; she said the program has about 87 volunteers who help prepare, shop and deliver meals. She thanked councilors for prior support and invited council members and staff to follow up with her or the foundation.
Councilors asked no substantive follow‑up questions during the presentation; Verhus said staff and former director Sarah Stratton had worked to recruit a school counselor earlier in the year and that the program had been implemented in January.
