The Udall USD 463 Board voted Aug. 12 to charge admission for patrons at home athletic events during the 2024–25 school year, while exempting seniors aged 65 and older, district staff and Udall Middle and High School students.
Clayton Bishop introduced the motion to charge all patrons admission; Scott Eilers seconded. The motion passed on a recorded 6–0 vote. Board discussion referenced league-set pricing (the minutes note $6 for adults and $5 for students at high-school games and lower middle-school pricing) and considered whether to offer athletic passes.
During principal and athletic reports, Taylor Becker noted changes in association rules requiring assistant coaches to attend the annual rules meeting and the shortage of four officiating crews in the SCBL conference for football. The minutes record that the board discussed these staffing and operational concerns but took no separate policy action on officiating.
The admission policy will be in effect for home events in 2024'25; the board did not record further modifications or an implementation timetable in the minutes.
